Icarus Machines
Icarus Machines are six pairs of counterbalanced wings that have been pre-programmed to flap silently every 20 minutes.
Taking inspiration from the myth of Icarus, frescos of Renaissance Italy, and the tendency of moths to stun themselves thanks to their attraction to light sources, Icarus Machines were the culmination of two months research while on scholarship in Florence.
